Great Southern Highlights - 9 Days - 8 Nights

Day 1: Drive from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve with picnic  lunch. Game viewing along Rufiji River on arrival. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 2:  Walking tour (2-3 hours) in the Selous Game Reserve with armed ranger.  In the afternoon go for game viewing until evening then drive back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: After breakfast, go for game viewing in the reserve then return to the camp/lodge for lunch and rest.  In the afternoon you will do boat excursion for about 3 hours in the Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 4:  Today you will do full day game viewing in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 5: After breakfast, drive to Mikumi (with Picnic lunch). Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 6:  After early morning breakfast depart to Ruaha National Park….lunch on the way. Dinner and Overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 7: Full day game viewing in Ruaha National Park. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge

Day 8: After sunrise game viewing and breakfast, drive back to Mikumi National Park for late afternoon game drive, overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 9: Morning game viewing then drive back to Dar es Salaam.
